Petros zoe clubhouse

One of the greatest inhibitors of success among young people in Uganda is not having a safe place to hang out during the day. Our club provides a place for youth to spend time during the day and in the evenings to engage in positive, life-giving activities. It is open seven days a week and has a provision for boxing, volleyball, dancing, tailoring and hair dressing.

weekly outreaches

Each week, we meet over 200 youth in two different communities through our community outreaches. weekly outreaches to various communities where we engage youth in different activities such as dance, football and boxing. At the end of each day, we share a snack with them and teach them something out of the Bible. The goal of these outreaches is to identify youth in the community who can benefit from our other programs to develop them into leaders, successful business owners and productive members of society.

youth clubs

Youth clubs are youth-led clubs that work together towards a common goal. Some of the initiatives of our current youth clubs include: urban farming, early-childhood education, waste management and tree planting. Each week, members of the individual clubs spend time in the community educating people about their specific area of expertise while leading the community to start the activities themselves!

These clubs have gained the attention of the local government officials. Some of the members have been offered jobs based on their initiatives, one was elected youth chairman of his village and others were invited to speak on the floor of the local parliament meeting to share their findings.
