A place where youth can be youth

We learned early on that life for many of the youth in our community was anything but easy at home. Many come from families where abuse is very prevalent. For others, there is rarely food in the house to eat during the day. Many are born to alcoholic fathers and mothers who don’t have time to attend to them because they have many other siblings.

Because of this, many youth purpose to be anywhere but their homes during the day. This makes them susceptible to make bad decisions and start hanging out with dangerous crowds. Many have joined gangs to feel the security of a family. Others have started drugs to forget about the issues life has thrown at them. Through our knowledge of these things happening, we decided to have a permanent place where our youth can gather every day of the week!

We offer a variety of activities such as football (soccer), dancing, boxing, weightlifting and aerobics.
